Chloë, as told by herself

A name is always a great place to start, and, mine’s Chloë; a would-be, soon-to-be art historian and frequent researcher with quirks to-boot. As for the rest, I’m 21 and based in England, somewhere behind my fort of books. I’m more or less in love with the inexhaustible variety of goings on across the ages, with a focus on the particulars of court life in 17th and 18th century Europe and the English Country House. Armed with my National Trust Membership, I aim to document a fair few of the lovely afternoons spent up and down the breadth of the country's choicest gems. These little outings have always been one of my keenest pleasures, which I put down to my inclination for magpie'ing pretty things and rootling around the rich titbits of social history. My paltry offerings come from playing around with what I love and words just on the tip of my tongue. I hope to branch out a little into noting down this, that and the other in regards to what’s happening in my world, as there are some rather lovely things in my orbit these days…
